An entirely self initiated project in order to survive the bleak reality of lockdown unemployment. I designed and sold various different kinds of shirts, also as an exercise in keeping myself entertained through many slow days.

To my complete surprise, I found that I had a pretty good knack for creating things that people actually wanted to wear. And have to this day sold over 4,000 items, and made a profit totalling more than 30k.

More than 5,000 units shipped worldwide

Where I started running up that hill

My first successful design was this Kate Bush Wuthering heights illustration in mid-2020. I underestimated the number of Kate Bush fans out there (though I consider myself a moderate fan) I even received hate messages for creating a poor likeness. What can I say, I did my best, and 2000 people seemed pretty happy!

The sensation that has been the Queen of Clubs

Though I’m proud of all of my shirts, this has been the most successful. For a time it was the top selling t-shirt on Everpress. And to date has sold more than 3,000 units in it’s various forms (black and white/sweaters/hoodies etc).

By far the biggest reward has been the photos sent to me by friends, of people in crowds, in clubs, on buses and trains, and in remote parts of the world wearing something that I drew in a complete goof crossover of my own stupid sense of humour, and other peoples’.

The others - less sensational but no less loved
